Abstract
Section titled āAbstractāWe report on performance of chemical vapor deposited (CVD) single crystal\ndiamond plates as side bounce monochromators for high photon energies\n($\gtrsim$~20 keV) in the Laue geometry. Several crystals were tested\nin-operando high-heat-load conditions at A1 undulator station of Cornell High\nEnergy Synchrotron Source. Up to 10$\times$ enhancement in the reflected x-ray\nflux was observed compared to that delivered by IIa diamond plates grown by\nhigh-pressure high-temperature method. Wavefront distortions were measured\nusing analyzer-based x-ray diffraction imaging. Focusing of a portion of the\nreflected beam was demonstrated using Pt-coated mono capillary optics at a\nphoton energy of 46 keV.\n
