An electrolysis cell was fabricated using a boron-doped diamond powder (BDDP)-packed bed as an anode. 30 mL of 50 µM methylene blue solution was decolorized to almost colorless within 60 min when a BDDP-packed electrolysis flow cell with a BDDP amount of 1.6 g was used for the electrolysis. The BDDP-packed electrolysis flow cell is considered useful for highly efficient and durable electrolysis flow systems because no significant deterioration was observed even after repeated electrolysis experiments.
