Abstract
Section titled âAbstractâThe process technology firm Lummus Technology will work with Element Six, which makes synthetic diamonds via chemical vapor deposition, to develop a new method for destroying per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The partnership combines Element Sixâs boron-doped diamond electrochemical oxidation process with Lummusâs electro-oxidation technology. The firms say the combined technology has successfully destroyed both long- and short-chain PFAS.
