Abstract
Section titled āAbstractāSpring steel 65 Mn wire with the diameter of 0.2mm was selected as the wire saw matrix.The brazed diamond wire saws were prepared by brazing process in a vacuum furnace using nickel-based alloy powder solder and in a tube furnace using Ag-Cu-Ti alloy powder solder.Their surface morphology,matrix microstructure,mechanical properties and fatigue properties were investigated comparatively.The results indicate that the diamond wire saw prepared using Ag-Cu-Ti alloy powder as solder had better properties,whose tensile strength was1 132 MPa,elongation was 3.27%,fatigue life was 12 h,and matrix microstructure was tempering sorbite.
