Abstract
Section titled āAbstractāBoron doped diamond (BDD) thin film can be developing applications in variety broad areas such as which includes the purification of wastewater and the disinfection of drinking water and electro-analysis and sensor technology. Especially, BDD electrode is applied to detected heavy metal ion in water. We are prepared that BDD electrodes of bare state synthesized with boron concentration of [B]/[C]=8000 ppm. The structural and electrical properties of BDD electrodes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), potentiostat measurement system. Suitability of BDD electrodes for electroanalytical applications is exemplified by sensing the heavy metal ions, such as Cu, Hg and Pb. In order to increasing of sensitivity, BDD electrodes surface was modified using various nano-particle metal materials by the Au, pt and Ti. Nano-particle modification on BDD electrodes are reduced potential windows. But it is stability and sensitivity are better than bare BDD electrode. Figure 1
