Abstract
Section titled “Abstract”Methods and materialsEighteen single-rooted non-carious teeth, extracted for periodontal reasons, free of cracks and fractures and with fully developed apices were used in this study. The coronal portions were removed to achieve uniform lengths of 15 mm using a low-speed saw (Isomet 2000; Buehler, Evanston, Ill.) equipped with a rotating diamond-impregnated copper disk (11-4244; Buehler) under constant water irrigation. The teeth were stored in 10% chloramine solution at 4°C until use.
