Abstract
Section titled āAbstractāThis paper presents highly compact low pass filter with wide stopband and sharp roll off level using the structure consists of diamond and flag shaped resonators (DSR and FSR) and the results show that the proposed structure is in good agreement with the characteristics. The selectivity of each resonator is utilized to obtain sharp roll off with low return loss in the stop band. The main attraction towards the proposed structure is its compactness. It can be effectively utilized in areas of research where the space limit is a criterion. Considering all the parameters the fabricated structure can be effectively referred to communication system.
