Abstract
Section titled āAbstractāTraditional FETs are transit time-limited in maximum frequency. The plasmonic FET concept solves the frequency limitation with behavior governed by oscillations in the surface carrier plasma where break up instability and signal amplification at ultrahigh frequency is controlled in a simple manner by a DC bias at the gate.
