Abstract
Section titled āAbstractāHere we present the design of a dielectric resonator antenna for spin manipulation of large volume ensemble of nitrogen-vacancy centers in a bulk diamond. The proposed antenna design is based on a high permittivity hollow dielectric resonator excited by a symmetric microstrip loop. We present the result of numerical simulation of the magnetic field excited at the TE01Ī“ mode of the dielectric resonator. We analyze the uniformity of the magnetic field in volume and discuss the possibility to use the antenna for efficient excitation of nitrogen-vacancy centers in whole commercially available sample.
