Abstract
Section titled “Abstract”50-μJ-level difference-frequency generation at discrete wavelengths of 4.6, 5.4, 7.5, and 9.2 μm in high-damage-threshold LiGaS2 and LiGaSe2 crystals under picosecond Nd:YAG laser pumping and various crystalline (CaCO3, BaWO4, diamond) Raman laser seeding is demonstrated.
