The blades of a circular saw are usually made of aluminum oxides and silicon carbide, which grind through hard materials. These blades can be used for cutting wood, steel, and masonry. However, if you’re working with masonry, diamond blades are more appropriate. Different circular saw blades have different tooth counts and different sizes. The smoother the cut, the higher the tooth count.
