Coupling Silicon-Vacancy Color Center Spin Qubits with Acoustic Modes in Diamond HBARs

We present an approach for demonstrating acoustic manipulation and optical readout of silicon-vacancy (SiV) spin qubits embedded in a diamond high-overtone bulk acoustic wave resonator (HBAR). This then allows us to couple the SiV to other quantum systems, such as superconducting circuits, and use it as a quantum memory.
