The radiation spectra of low-impurity synthetic diamond samples were studied when excited by electron beams with energies of tens to hundreds of keV and units of MeV with different densities - hundreds of A/cm2 and tens of nA/cm2. A significant difference in the cathodoluminescence spectra of the studied samples was found when changing the energy and density of the beam current. More suitable samples were determined that can be used in diamond-based Cherenkov detectors under various conditions. The authors declares no conflicts of interests.
