Abstract
Section titled “Abstract”In recent years, driven by the advances in smartphone technology, there has been a surging demand from users for enhanced functionality and superior user experiences. With breakthroughs in ultra‐high‐resolution displays, mobile communication, and 3D content production, glasses‐free 3D smartphones have emerged as a potential market trend, promising users immersive 3D experiences. This paper presents a novel OLED smartphone glasses‐free 3D display conversion system based on lenticular lens technology, aimed at facilitating the widespread adoption of 5G communication technology. The system employs a specially designed phone case incorporating a lenticular lens sheet, enabling seamless switching between 2D and 3D display content on OLED, smartphones while ensuring the stability of 3D content presentation. Additionally, this paper introduces an optimization algorithm tailored for OLED glasses‐free 3D display pixel mapping, addressing color shift issues caused by selective sub‐pixel use in OLED displays with the Pentile Diamond sub‐pixel configuration. This algorithm significantly improves the image quality of OLED glasses‐free 3D displays, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.
